Many parents are reluctant to trade in their urban lifestyle for a suburban sprawl. They look for a larger apartment or a row house to give them the space they need to expand their family.
This takes their house hunting to places like Harlem, Jersey City, Hoboken and Brooklyn where they seek to get a little more for their money.
Life can be logistically difficult and complex. I know because I am living it now. I have a comfortable home on Long Island that remains idle while I live out my life in a cramped and old frame row house in Downtown Jersey City.
Just going out for breakfast can be an arduous undertaking. I am always looking to improve my methods for managing my city lifestyle.
